I'm just glad to be getting rid of my Land Rover HSE Supercharged -- a fabulous car when it worked and at all other times, an annoying POS. Can't wait to get back into a 911, but since I have a 5-year old daughter, I need those little rear seats in the TT. I wish there were some DOT-approved aftermarket rear seats for the GT3 -- I love that car!

In all seriousness, I think the TT can be made to handle nearly as well as the GT3/RS. A lower ride height, suspension and alignment modifications and the car will be razor sharp. I don't think the GT3/RS can be sharpened that much more. By contrast the TT can be sharpened quite a bit, and with easy potential for 599-like power or more makes its horizon much more spectacular.

TT all the way, the GT3 is nice but the top dog in this pound is the turbo. I wish they offered the GT3 with a rear seat delete option, they would sell a lot more cars.

Totally agree Chris, not having the rear seats in the GT3 is a bummer.....plus its too low for my driveway as I already scrape with the turbo. Other than that I think the GT3 is a pure blast!

having rear seats in a GT3 would be a wonderful thing...They should do what aston did in the vanquish, make it an option

I agree. However, I wonder how punishing the ride would be in the back of a stiff suspensioned GT3?

He's saying he wishes it had rear seats that you could delete if you so desire

The GT3 is so crisp and ready to go while the turbo is more of a sports luxury car.

I still love it.

I have a track/street 993 Carrera 2S. It's got a stiff clutch, lowered suspension with H&R coilovers, no cup holders, no nav.

I can' t drive it comfortable on Fridays because of all the traffic (clutch is too stiff.), I scrape the chin spoiler on every crack in the road. The sound system sucks... Don't get me wrong, I love my 993... But, the point I am trying to make is:

I don't need another kidney buster. The TT is super comfortable, easy to drive, fast, beautiful, handles like a dream.. If your complaint is, it drives too much like a mercedes, then chances are, you drive like a candy ***.
Everytime I go out in the TT, I come back sweating. The TT MOVES... And no Mercedes has ever made me sweat.

btw, if your TT is a TIP, I can't even bother having this conversation.

I don't doubt that the GT3 is a bit more "track ready".. But again, I have a track car, which I can't enjoy on the streets of LA..

B
