I went and picked up an Odyssey battery for my '72 today and passed by McKenna Porsche in Norwalk. They had only one TT in stock, but wow it was a beauty! It was White with black interior and full carbon package. It was a non PCCB car also had 20" Rinspeed 5 spokes that were completely blacked out. Left with a smile on my face, only thing better would have to been able to drive it home.

 

scott-i hear you. that does sound like a nice car. i see your plan is to get a used 996tt-there are some great deals on relatively low mileage 996tts-they are great cars, and a great place to start your porsche turbo trip. good luck.

 

Thanks doc, I'm hoping within a year I'll be able to afford one, especially with the depreciation as there becomes more and more 997TT's. Once the 997TT's start to hit the used market with regularity, I think the 996TT's will fall even further and within my budget if all goes well for me in the next 6-8 months.
