Service manual

I've downloaded a few parts of the 996 TT service manual...at about $100 a pop, gets a little expensive. They are PDF files, password encoded.

Anyone interested in splitting the cost of the service manual for the 997 TT? There appears to be 9 parts, $110 a "chapter."

Could you send me the procedure to download the 997 service manual??? I just want the oil change chapture....don't want or need the rest. Not sure how you were able to capture these PDF files, password encoded..............I have tried over and over without success.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question.

Porsche supports a technical site at https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinfo/index.jsp

Through this site, it is possible to purchase either a yearly subscription to access files, or purchase individual files. Subscription is $5200 a year, or files at $110 each.

When files are purchased, a login and password are supplied. The PDF file is encrypted, with an access key which is a a hyphenated combination of your login and password.

Does this help?

Never had any luck using procedure you describe here. Porsche gave me the same two sentences you provided in red above. Everything along these lines colapsed. Don't know why Porsche keeps something like an oil change so secretive...even books outside Porsche's influence show nothing on the oil change. I have given up and will let the dealer change it at 10K miles.
