Mine left POE today and should arrive the dealer Friday/Saturday. That means car to me Saturday or, more likely, Monday.

Congrats on your car's arrival! Can you drive well enough with a cast on your right arm? It's a stick if I remember correctly! You must really be psyched about picking it up soon! I remember fondly when I was anxiously awaiting mine last fall!

Jason, it's a bit of a challenge to drive with the cast, though I don't think the stick will make that much tougher.

I'd love it if you could take some pics after I get the car.

Doug, it's slate/black. I know, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference from meteor.

I know you are really enjoying your new Turbo. I received my Meteor Grey/Black Turbo last Friday. I have owned several turbos over the years. Prior to now my favorite was a 1996 Arena Red/Grey 993 Turbo. I had a 2003 996Turbo with the X50 package which I never liked since it had a Tiptronic which was a big mistake for me. I love my 6-speed 997 Turbo. It feels more like a 993 Turbo but with vastly more power. Lets hope we both get our break-in mileage over quickly.

They had a meteor one in the showroom yesterday. And a white one and my slate in service being prepped.

Mike, my salesman wasn't concerned about the break-in period. He said, give the tires a couple hundred miles and then just go and enjoy the car.
