Brad,

I'm finally back from California so when the weather is nice and we've got some free time, I'll be more than happy to take some pictures of your car. Give it that artistic edge that it deserves!

Congrats on taking delivery finally! Larry's turn should be coming up soon.

I love my 6-speed 997 Turbo. It feels more like a 993 Turbo but with vastly more power. Lets hope we both get our break-in mileage over quickly.

Mike, I think you will be much happier with a TT than GT3, esp with the hassle you had with the 3. The TQ from a TT is intoxicating, you would be disappointed with the 3 in that respect.

Smile 997 Turbo vs 997 GT3

Thank you for your comment. I drove my 997 Turbo 200 miles in a PCA tour in San Diego yesterday. It allowed me to adjust to the car and carefully break in the brakes, scrub the tires and get all the parts moving. I kept to the 4200 red line without any "jack rabbit starts". I have owned previous Turbo's starting with a 1978 930 and including a 993TT. The only Turbo I did not like was my 2003 996 Turbo with X-50 and Tiptronic. The Tiptronic spoiled the involvement with the vehicle. The ride was slightly stiff and it felt large. That is why I was commited to the purchase of the 997 GT3. However, after really driving my new 997 Turbo I can state it is the best Turbo yet. It feels as light as my 997 Carrera S. The acceleration is seamless. The ride is better than my 2005 Carrera S. The car is wonderful. I completely agree with your comments.

Mike
