Dragstrip results for Protomotive TT

Following up from two weeks ago, I took my protomotive-tuned 997TT back to Sacramento dragstrip and filled up on VP Racing 103 unleaded. The results were... impressive.

Weather conditions: 68 F, 29.85 in mercury, 833' density altitude

Top 3 runs:
11.020 @ 128.38 uncorrected, 10.92 @ 129.5 corrected
<!-- End calculation result -->11.035 @ 127.97 uncorrected, 10.94 @ 129.1 corrected
11.072 @ 128.42 uncorrected, 10.98 @ 129.6 corrected

These runs were all on STOCK TIRES @ 37/42 PSI -- the same settings I drive around on on the street. I drove 130 miles to the track, filled up with high octane gas, ran 25 passes, and drove home. There you have it -- a 10-sec daily driver. I love this car!!!

Complete list of mods:
Protomotive ECU
Protomotive-modified turbos
Miltek exhaust w/100 cell cats
EVOMS headers
EVOMS stage II clutch
HRE C21 wheels w/stock tires
VP Racing 103 unleaded

The NHRA uses correction factors to adjust dragstrip times to a common denominator -- so that race results obtained on a hot, humid, low-pressure day can be more accurately compared to those from on a cool, dry, high-pressure day. Most acceleration results you see in auto magazines are corrected in this manner to provide greater repeatability.

Great times. Nobody uses "corrected numbers" here as far as I am concerned.

On street tires that kicks ***! Why such high pressures? You probably could have tripped even faster with 25psi or less in the back

yea the car should be a low to mid 11 car easily at 125-126 trap. I bet Ben can bring further bring down his 60 ft times and hit a 10.8 @130 under better conditions and lower rear tire pressures.

Congrats with some lower tire pressures or better tires in general you would be running 10's uncorrected!

Awesome!

Good runs!!

Wow...these 997TTs are fast. This makes me appreciate the EVOMS 10.99 in AZ even more...it was done in a very poor DA and adjusted out to a 10.6
