Thanks guys. I've decided to look at 2 x '07 triple black now. Dealer is also willing to do $3000 off! If anyone else is interested in the dealer let me know.

For an 07 car that's on the lot, I've heard (unconfirmed) that someone got 5000 off, even in LA. The dealer is paying "rent" on cars sitting on the lot; he is under pressure to sell them especially for a car this expensive. In addition since it's an 07 car, I would ask for 5000 off and see what happens. They are still making a lot of money at 5000 off.

new 07 997TT's are at least 5K off, no matter where you are. there is a used one in the FS section here for 13K under MSRP. my understanding is dealers buy cars from PCNA for a 13% discount of MSRP. Dont cry for them, at 5K off, they are still doing great!

Why go for an '07 if they'll give you the same discount on an '08? Sure, you'll wait a bit longer, but the '07 car will already have depreciated more. You should be getting a deep discount on the '07. I'd suggest ordering an '08 and getting it optioned exactly how you would like it. Only settle on the '07 if they give you a MUCH bigger discount.

It does not hurt to ask and walk - if your not in a hurry and if you dont care too much for specific options etc.

There is a black on black Tip with zero options sitting on the floor at Circle, Im sure they would deal on that one.
