Evolution Motorsports - whats going on?
Gentlemen,
ESu had made a purchase through a dealer in Finland and yes there was miss directed info. ESu Todd has been on the road delivering cars since June. A GT3 to New Mexico and high altitude testing/delivering a GT700 Cayenne to a customer in Colorado. ESu I'm glad you have made acquaintances with Mike Myers.
Also while I understand perception is reality, I work in the same building as my sales team and I encourage anyone who can't get in touch, however you happen to be trying ask for me. If you are not getting the service or you feel you are not being treated accordingly ask for Dan McGuire! I invite any of the posters or those who may be reading this to call me:

FYI...the EVOMS 997TT ran 10.8@129 , just wanted to make sure you knew what the facts were.

Dan, it has been over 3 months, and I would like to know if this has been answered in the mean time
I know nobody "likes" tips but there are for sure enough out there that would like to do mods as well

I have done some more detailed research and found that there is no switch in the pedal. After purchasing a 997TT pedal and dissecting it, the â€switch" that offers resistance against the pedal is just a spring loaded stop with some detent springs. It has nothing to do with the communication with the transmission computer. The communication comes from the potentiometer on the accelerator pedal when it moves past this point. I will be comparing the values from the Tip pedal to the 6-speed pedal shortly to see the differences as well as the possibility of using the 6-speed pedal. I have a 997TT Tiptronic in our shop for our EVT-610 tuning system that I will be using to get this project completed.
I apologize for not responding sooner and I will answer all of the questions that I have answers to individually.

I plan to go back to the track myself once it's convenient. I'll still be on street tires however, since... who drives a 997TT around on drag tires??

As far as your tire question, aren't you the guy who regularly drag races his SL on "drag tires", who drives an SL around on drag tires??
People who know anything about motorsports, know that you equip your vehicle with the proper tires for the application. Drag racing on street tires makes absolutely no sense. Get out there and get the right tires to get the job done!

Their car is a full weight, AWD, daily driven street car, what difference does it make about who owns it? That seems like a cop-out to compensate for your own shortcomings.
You are, as far as I can ascertain, either a child, or a fool -- and judging from the PMs I'm getting about this thread, I'm far from alone in this conclusion. How else can we explain your apparent unfamiliarity with the scientific method? Here's a primer for you to peruse: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_method . Note that the ability to produce peer-replicable results is central. The rationale should be obvious, but to put it in terms even you will understand: How do I know a vendor is telling the truth when they say "our package <x>X will produce <y> results Y"</y></x>. Do you follow? Are you going to explain to us that you are smarter than Einstein, Von Neumann, and every other recognized scientist in existence, and that I (we) should believe something simply because you say it's true? Good luck with that

Now, everyone I've ever dealt with has had the experience of a tuner product which didn't live up to the vendor's claims -- it's one of the reasons many people dyno their cars after installing a new part. So naturally I, and anyone else who isn't either naive or stupid, am interested in getting unbiased data about vendors' performance products -- which we get from (you guessed it) customers, not vendors.
Note that none of this logic has anything to do with EVO. I personally use EVO's headers on my own car, and AFAICT they work just fine. Your focus on them is simply another of the many logic errors which seem to clutter your posts.
However, thank you for confirming that there are no customers replicating EVO's results. Hopefully someone will in the near future.

I have found EVOMS to be quite helpful and responsive on the phone (and I think I have had to wait on hold for never more than a minute), and Todd and Nate have even answered my e-mails.
I have e-mailed and phoned other tuners and overall they have all been responsive, on average the phone being a more reliable mode of communication than e-mails. If a tuner were answering every single e-mail directed to him at the drop of a hat, then he would never get any other work done.
Try to keep this in perspective....
