Evolution Motorsports - whats going on?

Hello forum members!

Several of you have Evoms kits- and pieces in your vehicles. How do you find Evoms level of customer service?

I've literally been struggling to buy a EVT-690R -kit for almost two months now. Currently I'm (still) eagerly waiting any info about my reprogrammed ECU and or the status of my Sport Twin Exhaust Tips -addition.

It's somehow disappointing to find out that Evoms stopped replying to my emails, telefaxes and phone calls after the full payment had been made.

Other users: have you had similar or better treatment whilst aquiring Evoms-hard- & software?

-ESu

This seems to becoming common practice with EVO lately.

I have been through this with most if not all the tuning shops i dealt with. What i assume is that when a shop is doing so much research and development on new parts or packages, they tend to put 100% focus inorder to serve us(customers) best with after-sales satisfaction. Try to give them a call. I couldn't emagine how many e-mails they get on a daily basis. After all, they are one of the biggest if not the bigest porsche 996, 997, Cayman, and Cayenne tuning shop. Let alone, the Audi, Bentley, BMW and VW tuning divisions that they serve.

I would advise you call them and talk to Todd Zuccone. After all he owns that place. Good Luck

I have tried to get info on products in the past and have had no luck whatsoever getting someone to talk to besides the receptionist. I gave up after a few weeks of trying.

I have one word for you guys: PROTOMOTIVE. I get Todd almost every time I call, he's always available via email, and his stuff *works*.

How many other tuners' customers have you seen posting their dragstrip results?

This being a 997 forum, I was referring to customers' 997s. I understand that EVO has built quite a few quick 996

True!!! The fastest! They also have built the world's fastest 997TT...the only one to have run multiple 10 second passes. Since this is a 997TT forum, how many others have achieved that goal?

Here's a video again, for reference

...still waiting for your 10 second timeslip

I like their products, but getting in touch with someone at evoms is a pain in the ***. I've found that they rarely respond to voicemails, emails, pms, etc. Best thing is to just keep calling and holding.

Don't be childish. The EVO car was running on drag tires and managed a 10.99 @ 127.1, compared to my 11.02 @ 128.4 on *stock* tires. I'm not impressed.

Again, has ANY evoms 997 customer run into the 10's ? Bluntly, after enough experiences with aftermarket products, I don't believe anything tuners say until they're replicated by someone unaffiliated with the company.
