The Only Way to Describe Fabspeed Quiet....

Is to break the new forum rules. It's....

QUIET!!

Be aware, if considering this option. I was warned by DJ, but we'd already started the install.

Well I said it was gonna be quiet that I did pal.
SG just got the Cargraphic exhaust installed and I heard it last night and wow the sound is monstrous but not when you are in the cabin, it's a wonderful exhaust!
He did get the Fabspeed tips on it as well so it looks amazing.

Its quiet? Great! Then its perfect for me. I am doing the exhaust for better throttle response and power, not for sound.

The Fabspeed is perfect for my taste...and my neighbors.

I already feel a little self-conscious pulling into my neighborhood at 11:00pm. I cruise into the gates and keep it in 3rd (low rpms) while in the community.

I would feel like the car was a little too "Fast and Furious" if I had gone with a louder exhaust.

Just my two cents.

Is there an explanation as to why it gets louder with time?

carbon deposits inside a muffler generally allow it to "mature" after a few hundred miles.

Moogle is correct as well as the media that is used to deaden the sound also moves and burns down to a certain extent.
<O</O
I must be getting old, I wouldn’t want mine any louder. You hear me coming down the street, I just don't have to hear me <O</O
