My 2008 997 tt is coming

Hi everyone, I am picking up my 2008 997 tt this Friday or Saturday. I am so excited about it. The car has sport chrono pkg, sport adaptive seats and the color is GT Silver. I didin't order this car personally. The salesperson informed me about it coming in, and I just take it. Overall I am happy with all the options on the car, except it has no heated seats

According to the dealer, the car arrived at the port in Baltimore on July 26, and was transported by land to the VPC in San Diego. The car should be in the dealership this Friday or Saturday.

By the way I am paying MSRP for this car, is it a good deal?

I don't use heated seats often, but since I live in Seattle, I heard the lack of heated seats does affect the resale value of the car, it this true?

you will miss the heated seats in the northwest, but it's effect on resale will not be large. it will just be easier to sell with it. msrp seems about right for an 08 coupe, as they are going to make more cabs than coupes. good luck with the car.

Are people especially in the northwest really not going to buy a 997tt because the car is not equipped with heated seats ?

I won't sweat it about heated seats, even in the PNW...at worst case you lose a grand on trade-in - in the whole realm of things, small change...

Congrats! You're going to love the car. GT Silver is a beautiful color. What color interior? The adaptive sport seats are great. Quite of few of us Seattleites on the forum. I'm on Mercer Island.

I have 7k miles no issues - on E90Post, I've read some issues with fuel pumps - haven't heard of overheating issues though...
