dgussin1,
Good kill. But thinking that a 997 TT is as fast as a Z06?
I test drove a Gallardo and a 997 TT the other day, and while the 997 TT was much faster than the Gallardo, for the Porsche boys that think it is as fast as a Z06 are on some serious crack. It is close from a dig only becasue the Turbo is easier to launch. From a roll, the Turbo is histroy!!
Again, good kill and keep it up..

In a test for their June 2006 issue, Motor Trend managed to run the standing mile in a stock C6 Z06 in 29.3 seconds at 174 mph. That same car also ran the 1/4 mile in 12.0@122, so it wasn't exactly a factory freak.

Based on that article and your Nardo results, it would seem to indicate that it takes the Z06 nearly the same amount of time to go from 174mph to 188mph as it does to do 0-174mph. Not likely, especially considering the Z06's near 200 mph top speed.
Maybe somebody has some other high speed tests on the Z.
