Must Read:by Far My Greatest Visit To My Porsche Dealer Story Ever
Ended work early today so decided to stop by dealer to get 997 turbo (purchased here last week blk/blk with 1000 miles) hand washed and say hello...Owner and manager both approach me and ask me what would be the best news they can give me. I say i don't know, why? With that they hand me an invoice from AWE Tuning for almost 14 grand showing my car had installed the AWE TUNING SS 997TT MUFFLERS WITH 200 CELL CATS AND THE NEW GIAC 997TT PERFORMANCE SOFTWARE FLASH BY PREVIOUS OWNER ONLY 3 MONTHS AGO!!! (hE ALSO PURCHASED hre wheels but took them off and kept them and put back stock wheels). The owner told me the tech had found this in the glove compartment the day they checked the car prior to my delivery date.
They advised me the car was sold to me w/o knowledge of these upgrades but obviously the car was sold to me at agreed upon price. The owner also advised me they often have upgrades done to some of their vehicles and AWE TUNING is one tuner they often use and plus the fact they sold me the car with upgrades warranty will always be in effect and honored.
All in all, my beast now has additional 80 crank HP and 75 crank Torque from software chip and 24 HP and 30 torque from exhaust-total of 104 add'l HP in Sport mode-all at no cost to me. My purchase is now worth even more money than i expected.
