To lower or leave stock height? Need suggestions

I got a full Techart Body Kit and TA Springs...now I saw that the body kit will make the body itself lower by another 1 1/2 inch, with the Springs it should lower another 3/4 inch. How bad would it look without the car lowered. Anyone do any kits without lowering? Any pics out there to get an idea?

I know lowering it will make the car that much more stunning, but I don't want to have to replace the front lip every other month. I will take a look at the car with the kit without lowered and drive it on a speed bump and see. My instinct tells me to lower it and just get it over with since I don't drive the turbo as a daily car, it sits in the garage probably 5 days out of the week.

Lower it

No really - do it NOW - what are you waiting for? Still not done yet?

Mine is lowered and I cannot be happier.

Mine has been lowered for 6 months. The front lip scrapes here and there but its just the very bottom. Unless you get on your hands and knees you can't see it. Come on......lower it!!!!

If your really worried about it, install the kit, drive it for a while then put the springs on. It's not an end all installation... if you really can't stand the car lower, put the stockers back on

I bought an H&R kit last month brand new in the box but decided to leave it stock. I will probably put it on Ebay (I am afraid my driveway is going to be an issue but I went ahead and bought it anyway). Need to think before I buy next time .

You guys are too much...there's no practical reason to lower it. Sure, it looks good but you'd have to deal with getting the car aligned, scraping your front end all the time, and apparently there might be premature shock wear as a result too. I say leave it stock.

I agreed, if lower is needed for whatever reason. I will suggest go with full Coilover kit, like the PSS10 or Techart kit.

Are the roads in Jordan much better than those here in the US? I have a 100% chance that the front lip will get scraped, beat up, etc. The side skirts look even lower from a picture. I am still leaning towards lowering the car and just drive really really careful over bumps. I will go drive the car tomorrow with stock springs and see what kind of challenges lie ahead. I was told the full kit has been installed and the wheels are on as well so I'll go check it out.

Wow, this is the first car in the last 5 years I have not lowered and am just contemplating, in most cases I normally just lower the car and worry about scraping later, but since I had to replace the stock front lip 3 times with stock springs, this brought on the concern.

Ok...looked at the car with the kit on and the car will DEF. GET LOWERED. There is a lot of room to play with. Will post pics on Thurs/Fri when I get the car back.

Thanks to everyone for your input/feedback.
