New sponsor introduction - Voltphreaks lightweight battery systems

Hi 6speedonline!

We are a new sponsor here, and would like to say hi! We design and build lightweight battery systems, for high end racing applications. Our users are currently LeMans, Nascar, drag racing applications, and high end street applications. We have several lightweight battery options, ranging from a 3.5 pound model for 4-cylinder engines, a 5.25 pound model for V6 and some V8 cars, and a 7 and 8 pound model for all other cars.

Even though Voltphreaks batteries are nano-lithium instead of lead-acid, they are completely compatible with existing 12V lead-acid batteries. They are a drop-in replacement and will last 3 to 4 times as long as a lead-acid battery.

If you have any battery related questions I'd be happy to answer them if I can! We will be planning a introductory sale soon.

For anyone interested in a Voltphreaks lightweight battery, we currently have a demo Voltphreaks lightweight battery system that was used in a Daytona Prototype for sale, model VPR-S30. Normal price is $2099, now $1699. Weight is 7.75 pounds, all the advantages of a lightweight battery with none of the disadvantages (capacity is 26Ah). -
