first off thank you for your dedication to this project for the community

not sure if u will cover this in your formal purchase post but a few quick ?'s

1) are u planning to ship them with a matching LED bulb for the outermost location (the bulb that DOES NOT flash when signalling). from your vids it seems to be an incand bulb that doesnt really match the white of the drl leds.

2) can these be clearguarded to avoid stone chips etc?

3) have u put the installed prototypes thru a car wash etc to ensure there arent issues with condensation etc?

I have LED's in the outermost corners already. I'm guessing that I'd have to move that over? Is it even possible to swap those bulbs?

Good questions Atomic and Faiz....

First, there are tons of different LED or hyper white bulbs that are available for sale. On the stock car, alot of true LED bults even cause a warning light. Seems like some guys have luck with the HOEN ones. Keeping this corner light bulb is a must to keep the full circuit working so there are not warning lights. We tested the lights yesterday with some different LED bulbs we had here and insta light. With that being said, I am going to go to good ole AutoZone and buy the standard plug in ones that are brigher bluish and see how they look. If no issues, I will recommend that to others. I think they might be $5 So to say if your LED bulb will work or not, I have no idea.

As far as the condensation. The 2 halves of the light are ultrasonic waved welded together. What that means... They basically fuse the 2 halves together so NO moister will get it. Everyone here lives in different climates and environments. So all I can do is test here. With that being said, the 3 factors of Warranty - Bad Circuit Board, Failed LED Bulb, or Moisture is covered under 1 of the 2 plans.

 

I'm using the dLED3 bulbs from Hoen which has the built in circuitry to prevent warning lights from coming on. I'm glad that it'll work with these!

 

My light kit has a complete circuit board on it, so I cannot say 100%. If you want to ship one to me, I can test it out.

I know, they're expensive but they actually work compared to some of the other cheap chinese knock offs I've also tried. Funny thing is that I'm chinese but even I have to laugh at the irony of that.
