DRLs for 997.1 TT any news?
Alot of randomness in the thread... So will try to answer questions.
First, a long time ago we were trying to modify stock lights and they would work, but you would get a warning light on the dash. There is no guinea pigs or test people. We have been testing and working on this for a year!

Dan - can you please let me know what's involved in getting wires into the driver side fuse panel?
Milou - thanks that helps. I am curious to hear how we can install without taking the bumper off. I will have access to a lift if that helps but doubt it. I am also thinking about doing fog lights with either different bulb or HID at the same time.
I am not too concerned about using the fuse panel but I am concerned about running wire to the driver fuse box - just don't want to drill new hole if I don't have to.
Also what do you mean by "torch tools"?

It is actually a pretty easy job. There is a rubber grammet behind the battery that creates an easy access through the firewall. All you need to do is punch a small hole through the rubber and feed your wire through. It will pop out behind and under the steering column. Simply run it under the carpet (also easy) to the fuse box. 15 minutes to do the first time, 30 seconds or less one you've done it.
