If one has a tip and plans on getting Tip software should you stay with the same software for the Tune? There are only 2 tip programs I believe. Or does it matter?

I'm getting FVD's control module, and I hear that a few other companies on this board offer it as well to their customers.

Sadly, it's just been increased to $1800...it was around $1000 for the longest time.

bro , i sent my TCU to EMRE@ESMOTOR

this guy owned the fastest tiptronic 997 porsche in the world (verified) so he knew his stuff , sent it to him and he sent it back the same day to me

PM him for more information , remmber when you tune the TCU , you need to retune the ECU to match the RPM and not hitting the rev limter

good luck

Yousef

Yousef is correct. Whatever you do, make sure the ECU is tuned to match.

For that reason, I usually recommend using the same tuner for both the ECU and TCU.
