Installing Bilstein Coilovers
Installing Bilstein Coilovers
I'm planning on installing a set of Bilstein PSS this weekend on a 997 4S with PASM. Are there any special tools I need like a ball joint press? I have a pretty extensive collection of tools but that's one thing I don't have. Also can anyone point me towards the factory torque specs for all of the various fasteners that I'll need to remove? I've done countless installs on various cars but I've never done coilovers on a Porsche so I'd just like to make sure I'm prepared. TIA.

Be very careful when raising the vehicle. I used an improper jackpoint and screwed up my sideskirt when I was doing my spring install..... I am not sure if there are any special tools that you need on the AWD model. The install on my C2 was pretty straight forward.

I've had the car in the air many times doing brakes, oil change, etc.
Yes I do...is it safe to assume I will need to disassemble the stock stuff and reuse the top mounts for the struts?
