No, it looks exactly like a 996 with slightly diff rear lid ( 4 vs 5 slats ) , squarer exhaust tips and angled vs straight rear bumper seam line . On a black car, this exact photo angle could fool 99.9 % of the public , incl many Porsche owners as the new " hips " aren't that noticable.
The hodge podge front is the big change . Looking at the red car photo , it seems the headlights are 15 % too big when compared to the lower radiator grills - gives the front a squishy clown shoe appearance from this high angle.

Funny! My Wife Saw These Pics Of The Red 997 "S"

......and said it looked cute just like those Chevron cars with the big eyes and smile over the front grill. The female perspective LOL!

I can't wait to see how the Turbo 997 turns out!
