WOW! Those #s are really impressive!

7:56 is really close to GT3 time at the ring!

How could it be heavier and less powerful than a 996 GT3 but still get the 7.56 time at the ring? Wonder if that is on R compound tires and a tuned suspension. If 7.56 is accurate that is awesome... to bad its significance will be lost on those that only look at HP numbers.

Those are some impressive numbers if those are correct around the ring. Just imagine that same car with more horsepower like around 400 hp, amazing.

That would be 11 seconds faster than the 996 C2.

Gotta be the tires and suspension, or it has more power than Porsche is claiming.

3 suspension settings as follows

Normal..8min 5 secs
Sport setting ..8min 2 sec
Performance ..7min 59

these times were achieved by Walter Grohl driving and similar conditions.

Carrera 2 8 min 15 secs
GT3 7 min 54
GT3 RS onm slicks 7min 47 sec

(the record for the ring by a production car is held by a small UK manufacturer RAdical in a Radical SR3 Turbo in 7min 19 secs.)
