Newport Beach Detailers?

Does anyone have a good detailer that services Newport Beach CA? I usually get weekly washes and monthly waxes and my usual guy that comes to my office has flaked.

Steve's Detailing on Birch by john wayne airport - hands down the best and most professional. Flat rate of $150 includes full services inside and out.

Steve's detailing is a mickey mouse average wash place. They will leave more swrils than help the paint.

If you are picky like me you will not be happy.

I highly recommend Moe at Glistening Perfection. He is local to OC as well.

Steve's is too inconsistant and they pick up your car and drive it to their place. Glistening Perfection http://www.glisteningperfection.com/services.php and MoeMistry are same guy, but a little more than I wanted to spend each month.

Am I out of line? How much are you guys paying?

^^Moe is coming over today to detail my wife's Boxster. Tomorrow my S 63. I hear nothing but good things. I don't mind spending more if the quality is there. I'll give you some feedback after today...

Thank you guys for the support. I have a different philosophy about detailing and for my clients, it's not a wash 'n wax or a mere detail; it's a lifestyle. I truly think cars are an extenuation of who we are. After each of my details, you and your friends should see where your money went and what a quality detail should look like. My 2 cents

Thanks for the props Ag. How's the interior doing on your Turbo? Is it ready to be conditioned yet or are you still pulling out the silicone?

Its still coming out. At any rate, I'm out of town the next two weekend. I'll try to come see you either the weekend of the 27th or the 3rd.

Mistry, you don't happen to have any idea how someone in Asheville, NC would have a chance of finding a REAL professional detailer would you? We don't have the resources of options like in Newport Beach. How do we weed out the poor ones that shouldn't even touch our cars? I'm especially in need of a good choice. My car's black.

Here's my update guys:

Moe is a true professional. He detailed my wife's Boxster and my S 63. He knocked it out of the park. My wife was so happy with her car and my S 63 looks better than when I bought it (I didn't think that was possible but it is). The paint feels like silk, the interior is better than new, the attention to detail was really quite amazing. Moe takes his time. My S 63 must have taken him at least 7 hours. I drove it to the gym this morning and could not believe how good it looks. I flirted with selling it but there is no way in hell now.

I would recommend Moe to anyone that is serious about getting the best detail they can find. You pay for quality and value. Moe gives you plenty of value for your money. On top of his detailing skills, he is a good business man and conducts himself as a professional. Mind you, I am a tough critic as my company works in professional services so I scrutinize detail very thoroughly.

Moe will be the only resource I use to detail my cars. He will be back in a few months. I foresee at least 4 visits a year from Moe...maybe more. Unbelieveable work!!!

Thomas

Thumbs up

Moe did my car, and I laugh at the guys who brag about having their car 'professionally' washed and waxed, with all their swirl marks and residue. My cousin with his 2007 dark-paint M5 was particularly embarassed....

That said, Moe's TRUE added value (to the admittedly very high price in many opinions, including mine and my cousins, that he charges to detail your car) is that he shows/teaches you how to EASILY maintain your car properly (and sells you the products at competitive prices).

It's been 6 months since he did my car, and with my proper maintenance per his instructions, even though technically it's due for another detail, it still looks damn good to me !
