I'm back from Nashville and have sent dmoney a PM letting him know where I'd prefer to run - a nice straight road in the OC where Saleen runs around to prove their rides out. If he balks at this I'll consider his choice - providing it's safe. I used to race bikes and cars anywhere anytime, but after 40+ years of racing on the street and track I'm a lot more cautious than I was. I'm hoping he knows how to drive well enough -- oh yeah, I'll be so far ahead it won't matter if he is dong backflips down the highway.

The Gixer or a 'busa would be nice - they are soooo quick!

Wow, how did i miss this great thread! I have to visit the 997TT board more often for this kind of entertainment. I just sold my E55 and test drove a brand new C4S at the dealer last month. It's not even close. The C4S is a great car but the E55 is much faster.

 

John have you seen dmoney drive? Dmoney post some vids and remember leave on the first honk (put music on the vid) and let's put this to bed.

I have a modded M3, just missing cams, 4.10 gears and FI and I can't hang with an E55. I have however beaten a C4S in the past. Not claiming my car is a giant killer, but I can drive. I just have hard time believing you walked an E55 that easily. They run low 4's 0-60, heck the wagon will outrun most sports cars. Plus you can't ever know for sure the other driver was "racing" espcially on the street. I can assure you that unless the M5 is on blocks you won't win that race either. The C4s is great car, I would love to have one, but it's no E55 on the strip.

I saw a new S63 AMG tear apart a M5. That S63 sounded bad ***.

 

I can vouch for this guy being legit. I borrowed Thomas' TT Enzo last week, and dmoney just flew past me like I was standing still. The C4S badge fell off right infront of me too. This dude's quicker than his emblems, yo!
