Did you notice any performance improvement after installing the headers and cats.

ok here are pics I snapped today. As you can see the O2 sensors on the drivers side fit just fine, no odd angles, stretched wires, etc:

Here is another pic of the driver side cat. As you can see (at least I can), the pre-cat O2 sensor on this side is fine, hence supporting my belief that the cats are not switched around and that the cat on the passenger side is either also a driver's side unit or has the O2 bung in the wrong place. The second pic is of the post-cat O2 sensor on the passenger side, which seems to be fine in its angle/location. If I am wrong, then please feel free to correct me!

Jay,

I got together with my manufacturing foreman first thing this morning and we looked at all your pictures.

This is our fault.

We did a running manufacturing change in the cats and did not document it properly and it looks like your cat got built incorrectly on the production line.

All the cats we have in stock do not have this problem, so I am sending you a replacement.

I am sending the replacement as soon as a new O2 sensor arrives here from the dealer. If it arrives in time for UPS today, we will send everything out next day air for Saturday delivery.

Thanks for taking all the pictures. The last bunch really helped us tell what was going on here.

I've also sent you a PM about this issue with more details of how we are taking care of your issue.

If anyone else has had this issue, please contact me directly and we will take care of it immediately.

Thanks for the excellent service and stepping up. I look forward to getting the cat with the O2 in the correct place/angle. It is great to see a company that stands behind their products. I would definitely recommend you guys to anyone and even aside from this issue I think you have an excellent product for the 997!

Kudos to AWE for making it right.

All to often after market suppliers tend to shine you off w/ lame excuses why your install practices or techniques were at fault. Famous last words . . . ."We've never seen this problem before . . . . . ." and that's the end of it.

I agree - Mike and the AWE team really stepped up...but I wonder if any vendor 1,000+ miles away would have done this for you without all the work you did with pictures and explanations. Nice job!
