I love the 996 lights!! hate the 993 and older frog style ones!! Why would they do something silly like that?

 

I just hope they know what they are doing....

 

Interesting, One car has square exhaust tips and one has twin rounds, I wonder if there is something behind that as far as engines or if its simply just different choice cosmetic tips.

 

Look at both the 3/4 from rear view at the pumps with the ice and snow on back of car. In one pic there is obvious ruf type exhaust and then the other there is the oval or exhaust. It must be two cars

 

Of course it is two cars. You can see the second one in the first picture.

 

You would think they would have done wind tunnel tests for aerodynamics...I don't know for sure, but I would hazard a guess that the slipstream is smoother and less turbulent with 996 lights versus the retro 993's... Glad I am getting a 2004 996 tomorrow...
