Spend the money on some sort of performance mod.

I hacked the nav system on our GMC suv to show TV on the nav screen while driving. we basically use the screen to control the dvd movie menus (play, pause, etc) i find it WAY too distracting to have on while driving.

That said, do it if you feel the need. As the NRA tells us, guns don't kill people, people do.

 

I think I have spend my share regarding mods already :-)

Just remember a sunday during a holiday, driving on Autobahn trough Germany in my Audi A8. Suddenly remembered, there was a F1 race. Pulled over to a resting place by the road, and saw the whole race. It was then a genious gadget, and I still think it is.

I see that the bias in this forum is against this, but I seriously think many of the members here would apreciate this if it was possible. I'm not competent to hack the system myself, so I guess I will leave it since there is no other solution available.

 

I just can't believe that people will tell you to make your car faster, especially in the USA where most highway speeds are 70mph, but state how dangerous a front TV is is... I am a little lost... the Euro driver vs USA was a jab, I am an American, and the best driver in the world

 

What about nagging girlfriends on long trips... I would like to have cnn playing on my way to work... You have to be disiplined not to watch while moving.

 

Then all the more reason for the explanation!
