Best sounding headers for 997s
What are the best sounding headers and what are the best prices that anyone has seen?? I have the b&b but they don't seem to fit well with awe cats and mufflers.

I bought the E-bay/suncoast headers for$250. Changed the sound to a little raspy which is good. And they definitely added power and throttle response. Power most noticeable above 5K which is to be expected. I also have the RSS Plenum and currently have stock cats and muffler. May try APR Software soon as they are local to me.

Take a ride down to Suncoast Porsche in Sarasota and check out there motorsports department. They have some nive headers and exhaust there with excellent prices.

FYI- Headers make little to No difference in sound. Its the muffler and cat that will effect the sound..

+1, I thought my headers did very little to the sound. It changed it a tad, but when I did the cats is when it really woke up.

I have the AWE cats and mufflers along with the x51 headers as well. Prior to that I had the ebay/suncoast headers. I personally think the car sounded better (meaner) with the ebay headers along with the AWE cats and mufflers. But there was a slight fitment issue using the ebay/suncoast headers with the AWE stuff. So I ended up selling those headers and getting the x51 headers...fit is perfect now.
