Iforged Wheels Back- Still Not Resolved
We have discussed this over the phone, when I put your wheels on I have a vibration. When I put on my oem wheels I don't. No matter what your machine says If the Porsche dealer says they are bad and Two other wheel shops say that then I would have to be inclined to believe them. Why the hell would I want to go through this mess if nothing was wrong.. I will have to get someone else to tell me what the problem is and then I will tell you guys so you can try and fix them. Its like having a hot girlfriend and she dosen't put out.. The wheels look great but I cant use them.

I bought them from Eurorev in '04 when I bought my car... they vibrated the first time I put them on and continued to do so for a week... they have been sitting in my buddy's garage for 3 yrs as I don't have time to deal with that... moved to a set of F110's for the track but I would love to have the I-forges work for the street...
Yes, He is in sales. He has been helpful, He checked them out but stopped there. He said the machine says they are fine.. so he sent them back instead of digging further or offering to replace them.. If I keep having the same problem then they should do everything to make it right which means break them down and measure everything and put them on your own F*&#king car and see how they ride!

I got them used from Eurorev off of a 997S I believe... why?
I am sorry you feel like we have done nothing for you. That is totally not the case. We have paid to ship your wheels back and forth from Florida. We have cleaned each wheel and then inspected each wheel. Nothing was found wrong with any of the wheels. We even videotaped each wheel on the machine so you could see the results with your own eyes. We have ruled out that the wheels are the cause of the vibration.
I said you were helpful but you are not in my shoes.. I had to pay to have them mounted and balanced 7 times, not you. I still have a problem that other people have, so explain that.. Explain the issues on other forums??? I believe your machine says they are good. MY car, dealer, and wheel shop disagree.. So what next?? You don't know why and you didn't test them on a car so how do you know they will mount properly?? They ruined two rear tires in a month!! I was so relieved when I put my oems on and the dealer said they mounted and roadforced perfect, I had them try them on your wheels and they said no way they could get rid of the vibration.. Your machine or not I have a problem as do other people so what is Iforged going to do to resolve the situation??? I guess everybody is crazy?? is there a special Chinese mounting trick??
There are many factors that can lead to vibration in wheels from the hunter site
While driving a vehicle, consider all the wheel-related items that can cause vibration
- Wheel Imbalance
- Runout of the:
- Rim
- Tire
- Rim and tire as an assembly
- Force Variation of the Tire
- Mounting Error While Balancing
- Issues Related To The Vehicle:
- Bent hubs
- Mounting of the wheel to the vehicle hub off center
- Excessive radial runout of the studs
- Out of balance rotors and drums
The only other factors are the tires or mounting. I know you don't want to believe this, but this is the case. We did have to make 100% sure it was not the wheels, and that is why we called your wheels back for double checking.

Not sure why you are bringing my race into this conversation "Chinese mounting trick", that is very uncalled for. Our wheel are proudly designed, manufactured, and built in the United States. I understand I am not in your shoes, but I do understand your concerns. If there was anything wrong with your iForged wheel we would replace it under warranty. After careful inspection there was not.
There are many factors that can lead to vibration in wheels.
- Running no hub rings, you can omit this since our Porsche wheels are hubcentric
- Not using a roadforce balancer
- Tires being out of round, past problems with ps2
- Mounting from the centerbore instead of the lug pattern
- out of round wheels
The machine calculates radial and lateral runout in the wheels, and both were under the industry spec of .020

I also want this issue resolved as well.
Check the hub. Make sure they're hub-centric. if there's any space in between u'll have vibration. won't be able to tell that on the machine.
i aggree with both your point but the only resolution is for the manufacturer to put them on Porsche like yours to see and if it doesnt vibrate charge you for shipping if it does give you new ones or refund and pay you for your time...
id be pissed do a charge back man
