I forgot to say +1 hroussard: keeping it under 3k RPM seems to make a huge difference. When I get to the point where the cams come on, I lose 3-4 mpg immediately.

1- In rush hour traffic here in Silicon Valley (Hwy 101), I get 15-17 MPG... If I really try, I could get 18/19, but then I might as well be driving an econobox.

2- Dang, who took that youtube video on Hwy17?
