I think I paid atleast $1200 for my plates on my 06. That time of the year is approaching quickly for me too... bummer.

It's not the tag that is expensive...it's the ad valorem tax that jacks up the cost.

Same here, Iron Chef. You live up there in the Land of Ferraris and Lambos. Funny thing, I sat outside for lunch Sunday and saw at least 8 Ferraris and Lambos drive down Peachtree in Buckhead.

Funny you say that - I live right near the Ferrari/Aston Martin of Atlanta dealership, and I work right up the road for the Porsche NA headquarters. So its definitely nothing new to see a nice car most days.

I followed a speed yellow 997 C2 convertible to work and a basalt 997 C2 home today.
