Rattle when cold

Rattle when cold
Hi!
Have any of you experienced a rattle when the car is cold and you first start it? It goes away as soon as it warms up. I've taken it to the dealer twice and he says it is just the exhaust note. I'm sure it is a rattle though. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same issue. I think the dealer may be correct. It does sound like a rattle, but may just be the exhaust note. I am swapping in January to Techart Race exhaust, so I will let you know if the sound changes on cold start.

It's normal and has something to do with the air pump (an emissions device that injects air into the system). I don't know why so many think it sounds like a rattle, when to me it sounds more like a burbling. Unfortunately 997S exhaust systems don't always sound so great especially when first giving some low R's to pull away...yuck
