get the vorsteiner and be different. The CF will give you a nice contrast.

The Ruf bumper is hot, but looks a little too much like a GT3 bumper. I'd go Vorsteiner... it's a bit more rare, I think...

both bumpers are stunning, but id go for the ruf one if you are going for a more exotic look.

Thanks everyone for your opinion. It seems alot here like the GT3 bumper and I do also, but just like Black and Silver Porsches, its the exotic conserative bumper and more common in my opinion. The other thing is, I dont like the tacked on lower spoiler of the GT3 bumper, painted or not, it's tacked on. I understand why Porsche does this, driveability, the same reason our cars look like their 4wd trucks from the factory. They have to make it look good and funtional, but not to many people would want to keep replacing a $3000 bumper every time they pulled in their driveway wrong if it was as molded in piece. This tacked on look is also why i didnt mention the Techart kit, its just a tacked on piece over a stock bumper.

I think the Ruf and Vorsteiner give the car a more exotic and mean look that it deserves without going to over the top. In addition, their both molded 1 piece units and look as though they could have been designed by the factory. I was dead set on the Ruf but the more I look at the Vorsteiner the more I like the Carbon bits, this again raises the bar a notch or 2 in the exotic look.

I have about 2 months before the car arrives and I found the info on the new bumper that Vorsteiner is coming out with next month, Thanks $rouji for the heads up, so I'll wait to see that one before pulling the trigger.

The bottom line is that I thank all of you for your differing opions, whichever bumper ends up on the car you guys will be the first to see the finished product!

Bruce

i like my gt3 front because of the tacked on lip. It's a really low bumper, and it gives me some piece of mind that I can just replace the lip for relatively cheap since I scrape it so much no matter how careful I am.

I agree, i didnt mean my comments to be a knock on the GT3 bumper,I do like it. That is a big benefit and exactly why Porsche does this. If they didnt and because they are a manufacture i'm sure they would eventually get sued by someone. In addition this is probobly how they get the bumpers to clear D.O.T. certification for ground clearance. I am just looking for a little bit more of an exotic appearence and willing to risk the damage since this car will not be driven as much as my current 2S was for daily running around.

What's the ground clearance differences? On the vorsteiner web site they claim: The V-GT front bumper also offers comfortable ground clearance for daily drving conditions and also comes with an optional carbon fiber lip spoiler for track usage. Anyone have any concrete #s? The pics do look like it has more clearance than Ruf or GT3.
