any real world video of 997 vs 997s

Not promotional videos but actual real world video. Just curious the gap between the two cars.... would love a standing stop run and another maybe 25mph to 100 or something. Just curious... not sure one exists as I have searched around youtube and such.....

Look on Coochas' website. There is a Japanese video -- Carrera Invasion -- that shows a Carrera and Carrera S dragging it out. The Carrera S goes on to race an NSX-R and does damage there, too.

No video but go to www.weissach.net/996-997_RoadTestSummary.html This contains summaries of all published performance testing for these cars. You will find a 997 Carrera that ran 12.8/109 (C&D) which gives nothing away to most S times. That 997 weighed in at 3131. There are also 0-60, 0-100, and 60-100 times. I won't spoil your fun by giving you the ending. Very interesting stuff. This does not threaten me because I have a clone of the R&T 997S

Motor Trend or R&T pitted them against one another, among other contenders (Z06 and Cayman), two springs ago. I think the article can also be found on Coochas' website.

Yes the Best Motoring video. Also the "track battle" video that has the base 997, the S, turbo, NSX etc. The base 997 holds its own for the first few laps and then the brakes fade to mush and it is over.

cool video for first few minutes

but seemed like cars had issues, that brake fade that early was not accurate IMO... not even close, Z had a sticky clutch etc...
