Both automatics eh? I don't think that says anything about the final drive ratio (and I'm not bored enough to look it up) but it is interesting. And I concur, driver is 50%+ in a dig race... it does look like the Porsche got the better launch too. Best launch + slightly faster car = strong win. Crappy launch + slightly faster car = lose (assuming a good driver in the other car, which may be quite an assumption!) :P

 

I'd highly recommend some track time, I'm pissed off with myself for waiting as long as I did to start. I'd recommend sticking with the car clubs to start rather that independents, PCA, Audiclub, BMWCCA all good FWIW

 

i have a 335xi and a 997 c4s, the 997 will pull on it then smoke it after 80+, but the 335 puts up a good fight.

i enjoy the 335 for daily driving, it drives amazingly well... but the 997 is a grin machine...

 

Thanks for the video man because i saw a video on youtube where a 335 smoked an c2s by far and I was like wtf??? but in that video the c2s driver was cruising I don't know
