New Member Intro

Greetings - been lurking occasionally but decided to register today. Will have to go respond to 9 other threads now to get my post count up to where I can see pictures, etc.

We have 2 Porsches - a CaymanS which my wife drives and uses on the track, and my 997S which is a daily driver also and will visit the track this year. Hers is midnight blue over sand; mine is black over sand. Live in SE Michigan.

As a former lurker, thanks for the tips and advice you've already given me - hopefully now I can contribute back to you all, too.

Thanks - here are some pics...for now. I'll take more when the weather improves enough for a good detailing (late April or May unless we get a warm weekend).

Don't let my wife hear that your wife has her own Porsche - She'll want one of her own!

Got hers first - that's what broke down the resistance to getting my 911. I won't say how long that resistance persisted, but we've been married 30 years!

She prefers the CaymanS but does like the power in my car.

I don't blame her - I really liked how balanced and easy to drive the Cayman S felt and actually put a deposit on a car that the dealer had incoming. I switched to the 911 mainly because I'm 6'3" tall and the Cayman just felt a bit too tight. The rear seats are also a plus for my two young boys.
