Sport Chrono

Just got my new car with Sport Crono package.

From the manual it says that you can get into the Sport Chrono menu either by using the lower left level on the steering column or by pushing the trip btn on the PCM.

I can't find any menu for the Sport Chrono when pusing th trip button. I have
seem in post here that you get some special functions with the sport chrono package. What are these?

There are also some options on the PCM screen which I can't find. See pictures as example.

Can someone with post some pictues of the sport chrono menus on the PCM so I now what I miss?

Thanks

I'm an engineer, and the sport chrono stuff simply baffles me. To me it is a waste of time and I see no benefit in trying to learn how to use it. I think it is an example of trying to do too much so it becomes unwieldy.

Your dealer should have taught you how to use it.
To use the stopwatch you push the computer lever (on the left of the steering wheel) forwards a few times to get to the menu, where you then push the lever up or down to scroll through your options. Theres a timer option which you then pull back on the lever to initiaite and stop I think. I am doing this from memory so I may be a bit off.

On second thought, just play with that lever and you'll figure it out

LOL. Exactly.

That lever part is easy to figure out, it's that damn menu on the screen that isn't. Takes a lot of trial and error to start with.

the sports chrono menu is pretty useless. Also when I'm at the track, I found myself keep forgetting to hit the stalk to reset the lap timer all the time. (I'm too busy driving. )
so, if you miss a lap, basically the whole run timing is off.

btw, aren't we not supposed to time ourselves at the DE anyway?
