After installing the Aerokit/GT3 wing .. I find that a good amount of water has found its way into my intake after a carwash. Has anyone modified it and added a drip hole or something similar? I don't want to be stuck in the rain while that happens..

 

I don't see how it would hurt it, you could always put a rubber plug in it if it does cause problems and put a rubber plug in it and pull it out when you need to drain it.

 

I read a similar post on the 996tt forum .. ended up drilling a 3/8" hole on each side of the intake. If the water gets in the way, I will redo the mod to have a on/off plug and drain pipes to the bottom of the engine.
