What a Poser!
I agree that this is misrepresentation and it should be illegal. This is a very hot topic on the mercedes forums because it is known to be much more common. I just love to see these people on the road and laugh at them and then question them about their cars. Who are they trying to impress. One of the most common cars that i see this on is the mercedes cls. They all get it with the amg package and then rebadge the signs to make it a 55/63.

Run-flat P235/40ZT18 Front tires and P265/40ZR18 rear tires

got my car washed today and im waiting behind a brand new MB S63 amg...

! This moron had a brand new MB S550 which is a 100k vehicle and decided that he should make it look like a 63. So he replaced all the badges on the back, side, etc but nothing else. Some of these people are just weird, who does that....POSER!

It might have worked if the AMG was actually out?
And, I love it when they keep the original badge on the car and only add the "AMG" badge. A couple of years ago I saw a "CLS 600 AMG." Hmmmmm.
If any of you watch Entourage, there's an episode where Ari rebadged his wife's S-class so she'd think she had the more expensive model. Knowing that she didn't care about actual performance -- which is not uncommon among the fairer sex -- he assumed she'd never look under the hood.

The guy my dad bought his SL500 from put all AMG badges on it, but he also put them in places they didn't belong. My dad had the dealer take them all off and put on the real badges for a 500.
this is copied from the listing, "Body-colored rear deck insignia (NOTE: It says “Carrera S”. the car is not an “S” model, but it sure looks nice with the insignia reading as if it were one!!"
