i am dropping my car with AWE in PA for full exhaust, GIAC and EVO. Michael Romano [mike@awe-tuning.com] will be doing a before and after dyno that we will post up here.

Thank you Ian for such a detail and very logical explanation. My SC car has stock header, stock cat & AH mufflers, just way too loud (I've to use ear plugs, because it is giving me headaches) and I can feel the exhaust is very restricted. After reading your explanations, I'll go for AWE cat & mufflers. Much thanks !!

Great thread. I got the full AWE system (mufflers, cats, headers) going on my car in a few weeks and this thread reconfirms that I believe I made the right decision in terms of what I am looking for (a high quality and well researched exhaust system, good increase in h.p., and a sound that is not on the high end of loud).
