Wheel Spacers Installed

I installed a set of H&R Wheel Spacers (7mm in Front, 15mm in Rear) on the Weekend, made a big difference on the appearance of the car. I thought that the wheels looked like they didn't sit right (after it was lowered), now I think the wheels are positioned nicely. Sorry about the dirty car, I washed it after this project was done.

Lookin good. How do you like the evo intake? I am toying with the idea of getting either the VFlo or getting the x51 intake, which of course will require a lot more work.

I don't mind the VFlo, it came with my first 997, and then swapped out to the new (actually new one as original was crushed in accident). I think the X51 is much nicer looking, but a little more work to install. If I were to do it over again, I would pick the X51.

Thanks for the input. So what other goodies do you have lined up for her in the near future? Seems like a mod a month for you!

lol the only difference in our mods list is that I have wheels and you have the H&R sways, so by no means behind at all.

I don't know, tint and Lloyd Mats are huge performance gains

I guess you are right, I didn't mention the the Tooki, iPod kit, remote key, and Passport SR7.

I sold my HRE's and spent the money on other mod's. I like the Carrera Classic Wheels, very simple and timeless. (and easy to clean). Although I still miss the HRE wheels, I am happy with the mods that I traded them for.

The HRE wheels are indeed nice in terms of the look and lightweight. I have taken pics of my car with the stock lobsters as well after I lowered it, and they look superb as well with the drop. For the money I could sell the HRE wheels for, I could get the x51 intake, software, plenum, etc or better yet safe the $ in the bank. How much did the spacers run you btw?

I quoted them with Damon at Tire Rack and a local supplier and the price was the same, local guy had them in stock, so I went with him. I am sure that Damon at the Tire Rack could get you a better price simply because you are south of the 49th. Email him damon@tirerack.com.

My price was $350 Cdn with taxes, cheap mod (compared to the rest of them).

Your car looks much better with the wheel spacers!
Which shop did you get your spacers from? If you don't mind me asking?
Thanks in advance

The car looks great with the spacers but make sure you now get a 4 wheel alignment. I did 13 mm's on my 360, and it made a noticeable difference

You will be surprised the change an alignment will make to the overall geometry after installing spacers.

That looks incredible.

Sorry for the newbie question but... any downsides to installing those spacers?

Looks very nice!

I have the same H&R 7mm and 15mm wheel spacer combo on my C4S with identical looking results.

Enjoy!
