Someone needs to come out with a LED tail light retrofit for the current 997.

 

So far, from the photos I've seen of the rear ends, I like the current ones better. The LEDs are ok, but i don't think the lines of the bumper and tail lights are as nice.

so will all the 911s be widebody after the facelift? think i read that rumor somewhere. every spyshot i have seen appears to have the wider hips (i think). Pretty cool if it was true...

 

I, too, am waiting to buy my first P-car. Can't wait for the '09MY, especially with the new mandate for using hand's free mobile phones in California. The bluetooth and touch screen NAV will definitely come in handy.

 

The 09 motors are direct injection too

im seriously excited about all these improvements. I cant wait to see the rear reflector strip, I loved it on the old C4S. Hurry hurry!

 

I couldn't read all the posts as most were about the 2009 GT3. Anyway, will the new 998 turbo have an F1 gearbox? I'm not sure what a sequential gearbox is.

The next GT3 will be a 991 GT3 in 2011 The next turbo will be a 991 turbo in 2010 with the 7 speed PDK trans as an option.

 

I don't know what PDK means... Does it have paddle shifters is my question. I don't care about the GT3, just the turbo.
