It depends on how one views "style" or function . The reverse lipped wheel faced quite a few posts regarding vibration in the rain . It kinda makes style as comfortable as a woman wearing high heel shoes in a marathon .

On the other hand the "step lip" wheel is a beautifully crafted light three piece perfomance wheel . If you look closely you can see the "step" .

There is not a shred of vibration.
It is lighter than many of the monoblocks it competes with.
