I did the same thing... definitely worth the 3 minutes it took!
Doing this makes the chrono even MORE gimmicky, though. Haha.

 

I've never driven a Porsche with this option. I thought it was somehow related to rally driving...where you seek to arrive at a specific point at a specific time? Can someone fill me in on exactly this is all about...

hey guys they are jus stopwatch to measure laptimes and you can record it into the pcm so you can review your laptimes or show them to your frens 'who wont be your frens after they see it' (top gear review 997) haha this is what clarkson in his review..

Personally i dun use it but i normally start it up and jus pause it so there the timer is lighted up if not i find it rather dull esp at nite.. and now that it stays at '911' it jus makes its presence more meaningful

ACtually it wud be gd if its not used that it can at least show the time but oh well
