Where can I buy another key fob – remote?

I see ‘em on ebay for $189. Is that a good price?

Both have very good prices for new parts.

 

Don't forget you need it cut and program it. I believe the cutting can be done either at an Audi or Porsche dealer. The programming needs to be done by Porsche using their equipment. They need to get the actual code from PCNA based on the VIN of the car. I think they need your car to program the key.

Bottom line: The actual key is typically just half of the cost. Cutting and programming make up the other half. Figure close to $300 complete.

 

I was quoted about $300 as well. Decided I could manage with just 1 key.

I would just go to your local Porsche Dealer and suck it up and pay for it. Long term you will want to have, especially if you loose one.
