997TT front bumper on a 997S?

Has anyone seen a 997TT front bumper on a 997S? I am told it's doable, and you get the nice LED fogs.

If you've seen it, what do you think? What do you think in general- is it wanna' be, or OK?

fogs are not LED, only front turn signals are LED.
I dont think its wannabe, if you like the look go for it.

But I say go GT3, I like that front end better personally, might be an easier swap too.

LOL,Just got a price on it myself !
I believe it can be done, only thing to modify may be the wiring for the led(no biggie).
I had my Porsche guy compare mounting brackets the other day and it seems alot of the part #'s are the same.

Is it really any different than doing the GT3 front end?
"Purists" should be the only ones that will not like the idea but if you are willing to buy an aftermarket bumper for your car than this is a great idea.Nothing fits better than factory parts.
Just my $.02.

The GT3 front bumper is lower- that's one reason I am looking at doing the TT. Price for the TT bumper alone is $988 (minus 10% for PCA Members), but that doesn't include the grill, LED signals, or fogs.

Isn't the TT bumper too wide for a NB 997?

I thought narrow bodies are only narrower in the rear. The front ends are the same.

From the info I received this would seem to be true.Like I posted above,I had my friend in the Porsche parts department start check part #'s and they look alike !
Only downside is that there will be a bit of wiring.
Only one way to find out I guess.
Who is going to be the first,LOL !

The front of the 997TT is the same as the front of the 997 and 997S. Body changes begin after the door handles.

But yeah, there'd be wiring changes to support the LED turn signals, and duct changes. I may do it, although I doubt I'd be the first.

Eventually, SunCoast will sell a conversion kit (as they do know for the GT3 and GT3RS), which will make what I'm about to embark on much easier.
