Just droped my car off at VF-Engineering for SC kit
I dropped off my 997, this morning to vf. I received a sponsorship and I will be having their SC kit installed. I think that the best place, for the install would be from the manufacturer. They know everything about their product. When I came in I met with Nik. Very nice Guy. He showed me their SC kits and gave me a tour of the facility. Very nice shop. They have a lot of projects going on. The place was full of cars that were being worked on. Vf will be using my car to do an update to their supercharger system. They're increasing the boost to make more power. I was told that 6.0 psi from the original supercharger, was not even pushing the engine. Can't wait to drive it. This will be the new and improved version. They said they would need about 3 weeks to do the install and tuning and testing. One thing that was stopping me from the install, was the Sc kit not being carb legal. Nik told me that they're working on the certification from the arb and that in about 2 months they would need to borrow my car for the testing process. The kit will pass a smog test but not the visual yet. I'm hoping they could get 500 hp. As soon as I get any updates I'll post.

Congrats on moving forward, it will be a total sleeper. I would love to get a bunch of extra power and take it to the track and not tell your buddies until after the day is over.
I was told that the kit runs 6 psi. I'll ask nik from vf about it.

+1 on the group buy being a joke. I would like to force feed my car one day. Bigger Brakes are a must for this kind upgrade, lots of power needs lots of stopping power.
It is for both 997 and 996.

So VF is the designer and manufacturer of the "EVOMS" SC kit that I have in my 997S, right? How is the kit actually being changed?
BTW: I love mine!
Congrats and please keep us posted.
