I race in SCCA. For 7 years I competed in National-level racing and went to 7 Run-Offs, but when they moved the Run-Offs from Mid-Ohio to Topeka, I stopped doing a lot of Nationals. Now I do mostly Regional racing. The Regional series in the Northeast is called the Mid-Atlantic Road Racing series, or MARRS. This is my 16th year as an SCCA racer.

I have not heard back yet either but did not expect to. I sent him a PM with my address so I figured he sent out the Softtronic package sometime this week and I will get it next week. I just hope I can get it for my 2 day track event next weekend. I will pay extra for shipping to make it happen if need be.

I am so excited about winning this I feel like a little kid! I freakin' can't wait because I has heard so much good stuff about the Softronic ECU upgrade files for the 997S. I can really put this to good use at the track!

You may download the Durametric software at http://Durametric.com and the Softronic software at http://Softronic.us/flashersetup.zip .
DO NOT install until you have the cable and can plug it in to the USB port after installing the software.
I hope that you will all give a report on the software and tune after you receive them.

I haven't been keeping up with the forums lately, but just got caught up. The contest was a cool idea! I bought mine back in December and can't say enough good about it! It transformed my C4S in a flash. Scott was great to deal with, and I can't even remember what it was like before. Now after seeing the dyno results on the plenum, I am now curious how much that would add. Kudos to Scott and Softronic and congrats to the winners, you will love it!

More accurate way would be to say Porsche is hot and after Softronic is hotter or something to that extent....leave me alone I suck at poetry

Softronic Install
This is the link to download the Softronic software that will read and write to your car. Please download and install this.
Next after software install:
1. Plug in the cable to the USB and let the computer install it automatically. Should it ask if you want to, say yes and allow it. THIS HAS to be done just after the software is installed and before the program is run.
2.Plug the cable into the OBD2 port or also known as the diagnostic port.
3.Turn on the key.
4. Launch the software and after it reads and when you get to the "Comments " fill in if you want Sport mode, what year, model and trans you car has, manual or auto, name and email address.
5. The file will then upload.
6. Turn Off the key and unplug the cable, you may use the car until you receive the new files to tune.
6. I will then send you your files within 24 hrs or your tuner.
Should you not see a "Next" button at the bottom of the screen you will have to change the DPI from 120 to 96 or Normal
