It appears the new facelift 997 will show up in a week?
Well...........almost stole it!
You can't compare the TDI technology to the normally aspirated direct injection technology.
Also, their will be no mistake that your driving a 997 with PDK with the driving a Jetta or Audi TT with DSG. Similar theories..........different application and Porsche is the inventor of the VW/ AUDI dual clutch tecnology anyway.

I can't wait to drive the new 385 hp S with PDK!!!
I wonder if they'll wait to do X51 until the turbo also goes DFI, as Porsche always likes to keep a certain power spread between the NA and turbo cars.

Really liking the new front lights. The rear seems to be changed just for the sake of change, but LED's are a plus.
I wonder if the new S with PDK will outperform the 996 GT3 MKII. More hp, more torque, dsg, but a bit more weight.

Silver car is Carrera 4 and emblem is higher becouse it will be red stripe between rear lights - like it was on 996 4/4s - it looks like that under the cover (silver tape). That's my guess.
The red reflectors on the back actually look like tape. I bet they're bringing back the reflector band that connects the tail lights. Also, the front fog lights appear to be camuoflaged and will be smaller than the existing lights (but maybe you already knew that).
Cool. Thanks Racer911S. I can't wait to see how that would turn out. Also, the headlight has an extra what appears to be another xenon bulb. That is also cool as I always hated my high beam lights because it beams a yellow light and does not match the low beam xenon light.
Your right this is also official news. The reflector strip will be back for 09 on the Carrera 4 and 4s!
