Small rock chips
Not if you clear bra the whole hood and bumper so you won't see the line. You wouldn't even know it's there and it will save you a lot of money on paint job down the line.
I have VS clear bra on my black car and many people don't even realize i have a clear bra on my car!
Black is the hardest color to put on clear bra but if many people don't even realize it's on your car, that says a lot about the installer.

Repairing paint chips is super easy on flat colors (white, black, red, etc). Just need to add the paint and let it dry over 5 days. Then wet sand and polish. Of course the first time is pretty nerve racking.
The metallic paints are very hard to match. It usually looks good from one angle, but from another you can see a color difference. If you want a flawless repair, you probably need a professional to airbrush- very expensive.
Luis matched it absolutely dead on.
Forget the airbrush.
Call Luis!
So if you don't hear in a day or so let me know and I'll call him.
