^ nothing official yet.

Once again to a few other posts no one said shortage lol

All I ever said was getting exactly what you want WHEN you want it if not acted upon sooner than later may leave some shocked that the allocation was so thin. That's all : ) Everyone will get a car. Im confident in it but if you want to order one of your own most dealers only have a few spots of each model. Meaning you may have too wait longer. Smile everyone : ) Keep the phone calls coming to btw. Always happy to help!

Thank you Nero for the kind words!

I have been visiting this website for well over a year now because of Andreas' recommendation. After reading this past thread, I finally joined simply to defend him.

Andreas is one of the most stand-up salesmen, and more importantly individuals, that I have ever been associated with. When I purchased my first, and only, Porsche, I went to him and he actually saved me money by talking me out of useless items that can add up. He also helped me considerably when someone recently keyed my car.

So, I know how he may have come off, especially as a car salesman, but you would be hard pressed to find a better gentleman to deal with.

Thanks again, Andreas, for all your help. Talk to you soon.

Charles

- Don't take the bait when someone trys to get your goat. You're in sales; and being that you're in automobile sales- people's knee jerk reaction is to assume you're full of BS.

You didn't say RUN to Porsche of Orlando- you said 'go to your dealer'. I thought that was pretty fair indeed.

Yeah, I say lay off Andreas. He has just as much right as a member to crack back against a real or percieved slight as anyone else. He has come up with some pretty good info so he shouldn't have to put up with any s*$t just because he is a "dealer".

3 cars for September through December ain't much so I think it's fair to share.

No 3 cars, 3 Carrera S coupe, but I guess all other 997 models as well, Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4 S, Targas, Cabs and possibly even GT3's.

Each dealer makes a projection at the start of the model year and PCNA gives final allocation, yet there is some elasticity on allocations.

If you want to see how flexible allocation might be, see what happened to the last badge of CGT's, where PCNA sent a good amount of CGT's and finally retreived them to sell in other markets, if that is done in a car with finite production, I guess the Carrera S will come in plenty as demand dictates.

Thus I see the "better order in now" line kind of weak... that's all.

For once a Porsche salesman who actually knows what he's talking about and can be helpful. Geez, give the guy a break.

As the saying goes, "No good deed goes unpunished". This is especially true with a group of keyboard jockies who get their panties in a twist at the thought of being the first one with a witty slam against the obviously ignorant OP.

Thanks for the info, Andreas.

I heard the same thing as what Andreas posted. Allocations will be adjusted due to the weak dollar and strength in Russian & Chinese markets.

I dont think it will be as rare as the GT3RS but it is possible that poeple have to wait longer than normal due to the decreased allocation from PCNA.

I spoke to Andreas about a GT3 and even though he could not get me one he was very professional and polite which is a LOT more than i can say about the dealers around California.

You can probably buy the rear bumper cover and leds lights and control unit to make it work.
